Crash happened on Route 140 at Tyrone Road
Westminster, Md (DG) – An 87-year-old man from Catonsville, Maryland lost his life in a single vehicle accident late Friday night in Carroll County.
Troopers with Maryland State Police responded to a personal injury accident on Route 140 at Tyrone Road at around 10:45 PM. Upon arrival they found a Cadillac DTS had left the roadway and collided with a tree.
The driver of the vehicle, Willy Hollimon, was flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore where he died from his injuries.
The investigation into the accident is continuing. Police are asking anyone with information to call 410-386-3000.
