State Police are investigating.
Hagerstown, Md (KM) Maryland State Police homicide investigators are looking into the death of an inmate at a state prison in Washington County.
Authorities say Christopher Dorsey, 36, was found unresponsive Thursday afternoon in his cell at the Maryland Correctional Training Center in the Hagerstown area. . He was pronounced dead by emergency medical personnel. His body was taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
State Police say the Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation begun by the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services’ Intelligence and Investigations Division. Once completed the investigation will be presented to the Washington County State’s Attorney’s Office for review.
