The heist happened while the Bavarian Inn was closed due to COVID-19 restrictions
Shepherdstown, WV (DG) – Shepherdstown Police are looking for the suspects who stole over $50,000 worth of wine from the Bavarian Inn in Jefferson County, West Virginia.
In a Facebook post, police revealed the suspects forced their way into the Bavarian Inn between April 13 to April 17, while the hotel and restaurant were closed due to COVID-19 restrictions. The suspects stole in excess of $50,000 of valuable wine from their wine cooler inventory and other items.
A cash reward is being offered for the safe return of the wine and/or information leading to the arrest of those responsible.
