Hagerstown, Md (KM) Arrests were made Thursday night in Hagerstown during a prostitution and sex trafficking detail. . Police say 12 people were taken into custody.
This action follows citizen complaints about prostitution on local streets and at area motels.
Authorities say law enforcement targeted street level prostitution and internet vice activities..
Hagerstown Police say this operation was conducted in conjunction with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the Maryland State Police and the FBI. . It was funded by a grant from the Maryland Criminal Intelligence Network.
