The suspect has not been found.
Myersville, Md. (NS) – A boy was stabbed in Myersville on Friday.
The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office says shortly before 1:30 pm, deputies were sent to Doubs Meadow Park for an assault where they found the victim, a juvenile male with minor stab wounds.
Investigators said the suspect, a white male between 20 and 30 years old, used a pocket knife in the assault.
He is described as 6’1″, heavyset, wearing a brown hoodie and a camouflage neck covering.
A K-9 unit was used at the scene to sniff out the suspect, but deputies did not find him in the park.
Police say there does not appear to be any threat to the community at this time.
