Howard County Man Pleads Guilty For Threatening  LGBTQ + Advocacy Group

He could face up to five years in jail.

Baltimore, MD. (DG)- A Howard County man pleaded guilty on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, to threatening an LGBTQ+ advocacy group.According to the Maryland States Attorney’s Office, 34-year-old Adam Nettina of West friendship, Maryland, pleaded guilty to using the telephone to threaten a group that advocates for LGBTQ + people. Nettina also admitted to sending messages to Maryland and Virginia State Delegates for their support of transgender people between 2022-2023.Nettina faces a maximum sentence of five years in federal prison when he is sentenced on November 3, 2023.
