Krop will go on trial late this year, Jenkins early next year.
Baltimore, Md (KM) Trial dates have been scheduled for local businessman Robert Krop, and Frederick County Sheriff Chuck Jenkins. A federal judge says Krop’s trial will begin on December 9th, 2024, and last eight days. Jenkins’ trial is scheduled for January 27th, 2025, and last for seven days.
Both men were indicted in April, 2023 on five counts of conspiracy and making false statements to illegally obtain machine guns. Krop is also charged with illegal possession of machine guns. Both Krop and Jenkins have pleaded not guilty.
