Three Suspects Being Sought In Strong Arm Robbery In Wheaton

Three individuals stole an item from another person.

Wheaton, Md (KM) Detectives with the Montgomery County Police are investigating a strong arm robbery Wednesday, February 21st at the Westfield Wheaton Shopping Center at 11100  Viers Mill Road.

Authorities say a man was in the Target store when he was approached by three individuals who demanded some personal property from the victim.  The victim refused, and the three individuals forcibly took his property and left.

Police say one suspect was an African-American male, about 14 to 20 years of age,  wearing a black mask, black jacket with a red lining, gray sweatpants and gray shoes.

The second was a was also wearing a black mask, but his race is not known at this time. He had on a black, hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes.

The third one is described a Hispanic male with curly hair. He had on a black hooded sweatshirt with the words “Never Mind The Spider, here’s the slime” in pink writing. He was also wearing black shoes and black jeans.

Montgomery County Police have posted video surveillance of the three persons on  their website.
