Detours will be set up for drivers.
Frederick, Md (KM) There will be two road closures in Frederick County in late August.
Beginning on Monday, August 26th, the Blacks Mill Road Bridge at Hunting Creek will be closed for about two weeks to allow County Department of Highway Operations’ crews to shore up the bridge abutment. .
The second closure will be at Highland School Road between Route 17 and the property at 10814. That will also begin on August 26th, and last for three weeks. Crews will replace pipes and clean ditches along the road.
Signed detours will be set up in both locations.
