Washington County Sheriff’s Office Investigates Threat At Boonsboro High School

It turns out the threat was not credible.

Boonsboro, Md (KM) Early Friday morning, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to Boonsboro High after receiving reports of a possible threat to the school. Authorities did not describe the nature of the threat.

Deputies began their investigation and determined that no credible threat had been made to Boonsboro High, or any other school in Washington County.

The Sheriff’s Office says it prioritizes school safety, and all threats are taken seriously and investigated thoroughly. Citizens are encouraged to report all threats to their local law enforcement agencies. “Report it; don’t share it” says the Washington County Sheriff’s Office in a post on its Facebook page about this incident.
