Alsobrooks leads with 52% of the vote to Hogan’s 45% at the time of the announcement.
Annapolis, MD – Former Maryland Governor Republican Larry Hogan has conceded the Maryland US Senate seat to Prince Georges County Executive Democrat Angela Alsobrooks.
Hogan made his concession speech and congratulated the first black woman to represent the state in the US Senate.
At the time of the announcement, Alsobrooks was leading with over 1 million votes, or 52%, to Hogan’s 945 thousand votes, or 45%.
Hogan said that now is the time for us to come together, as one state, as one nation, and respect the will of the voters, and the democratic process.
