Md. State Police say it involved three vehicles.
A multi–vehicle crash in Frederick County claimed the life of a Walkersville woman Friday morning.
Just after 7:30 AM, State Troopers from the Frederick Barrack responded to Route 340 just past the Jefferson Pike exit east of Route 180 for the wreck. . They learned that a Nissan Frontier was traveling west on Route 340 . when the driver identified as Mary Gieseman, 25, lost control of the vehicle. It went over a grassy median and struck a vehicle operated by Kimberly Crace Linebaugh, 23, of Walkersville. Linebaugh was pronounced dead at the scene.
A vehicle operated by Abigail Stone, 45, was struck by flying debris.
Authorities say Gieseman was taken to Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown for treatment . Stone was not hurt.
