Frederick County Elections Board Certifies Results From 2024 Contest

Board of Ed candidate Josh Bokee demands recount.

Frederick, Md (KM) The 2024 general election results have been certified by the Frederick County Board of Elections.

According to the count, Jaime Brennan came in number-one in the Board of Education race with 55,444 votes, or 16.81 percent.   She is followed by Janie Monier with 54,976 votes, or 16.66 percent. .

The third place winner is Colt Morningstar Black who won 53,403 votes, 16.19 percent. . But he leads Josh Bokee by only 213 votes. . Bokee won 53,190 votes  or 16.12 percent. He is requesting a recount.

The other results are:

*Veronica Lowe who won 51,200 votes, or 12.49 percent

*Chad King Wilson, Jr., who won 48,860 votes or 14.81 percent.

*Heather Fletcher, who was a write-in candidate, won 21,183 votes, or 6.42 percent.

*Other write in candidates won 1,632 votes, or 0.49 percent.

Three seats on the Board of Education were up for grabs during the 2024 General Election.
