Suspect Arrested In Shooting Along I-95 In Maryland

He’s currently being held without bond.

Elkridge, Md (KM) Maryland State Police have arrested a suspect in a shooting on Interstate 95 in Howard County early Monday morning. Kevin Gross, 46, of Baltimore was taken into custody, charged with attempted 1st-degree murder, 1st-degree assault,  2nd-degree assault and other offenses. He’s being held at the Howard County Detention Center without bond.

At around 4:30 AM on Monday, troopers responded to I-95 northbound prior to Route 219 for reports of a shooting. Ronald Victor Garcia-Rodriquez, 28, of Laurel, called 911 and said he had been shot several times. Garcia-Rodriquez was found lying on the shoulder of the highway suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to Shock Trauma for treatment of his injuries.

The investigation into this incident is continuing.
