The Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation.
Finksburg, Md (KM) The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office continues its investigation into a double shooting last Friday which left one man dead and the second person injured. . But the name of the deceased has been released. He is Benjamin Billings, 33, who had an Owings Mills address. The other man is a 42-year-old from Finksburg who was transported to an area hospital.
At around 7:46 AM on Friday, deputies responded to the intersection of Wesley Road and Patapsco Road in Finksburg. for a shooting. They found the two men inside of a pickup truck. Billings was the driver who was pronounced dead at the scene. The 42-year-old man was the passenger.
Detectives with the Major Crimes Division are seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect. Anyone who has information which could help is asked to contact the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office. They can call Detective Owens at 410-386-2571 or send an e-mail to [email protected]).
Authorities are also asking anyone who might have door cam video from that area from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM on Friday, December 13th, to come forward.
