Frederick County Animal Control To Close Temporarily On Friday

Frederick, Md (KM) The Frederick County Animal Control Center will be closed on Friday, January 17th between 8:00 AM and 12:00 noon. . Officials say this will allow local utilities to perform needed work in the area.

This closure includes the Pet and Adoption Center. There will be a scheduled four-hour power outage on Friday. During that time, essential staff will be on duty to care for the strays and unwanted pets. A plan is in place to provide lighting and heat to the building to ensure the heatlh and well-being of the animals.

The Animal Control Center will resume normal operations following the utility work.
