Gaithersburg, Md (KM) A Kensington man is being held without bond for a fatal shooting earlier this week. Benjamin Jack Dresbach, 21, is charged with 2nd-degree murder.
Montgomery County Police say on Monday afternoon, January 13th, at around 5:40, officers were called to the 3900 block of Franklin Drive in Kensington for a shooting. The found Trevor Dean Van Devander, 29, of Sykesville suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities say the two men were inside Dresbach’s home when an altercation led to Van Devander’s shooting.
The victim’s body was taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
