Howard County Police offering $5,000 for information leading to arrest and conviction of suspect.
Columbia, MD – Howard County police are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information in the shooting death of 17-year-old Lance Carrington, a Columbia resident, who was found deceased in his vehicle on January 14.
Police responded to the 6000 block of Helen Dorsey Way around 8:30 p.m., where Carrington was discovered in the driver’s seat of a parked vehicle. Authorities confirmed he had been shot at least once. Investigators are still working to determine when the shooting occurred.
Detectives believe the incident was not random and may have been drug-related. However, no suspect information has been released at this time.
