Thurmont, Md (KM) A crash involving an SUV and a school bus took place Thursday afternoon near Thurmont.
Frederick County Fire and Rescue Services says at around 4:07 PM, emergency personnel were dispatched to northbound Route 15 at the entrance to Cunningham Falls State Park.
Officials say four children on the bus were hurt.. Two were transported to the hospital with minor injuries; two other kids refused treatment.
All lanes of northbound Route 15 and one lane of southbound Route 15 were closed following the crash.
Representatives from Frederick County Public Schools were on the scene, contacting the parents of the children who were on the bus.
