These cases move to the Circuit Court where trial dates will be scheduled.
Frederick, Md (KM) Four people were indicted on Friday by the Frederick County Grand Jury. One was David Wayne Styles, Jr., 37, of Boonsboro. He is charged with 1st-degree assault; 2nd-degree assault; reckless endangerment; use of a firearm in the commission of a crime of violence or a felony; having a loaded handgun in a vehicle; having a handgun in a vehicle; having a loaded handgun on his person; and having a handgun on his person.
Styles was arrested earlier this month following a road rage incident. Frederick Police say at around 8:44 AM on March 3rd, 2025, , a citizen told officers a driver in another vehicle pointed a handgun at them before driving away, The incident occurred in the area of West Patrick Street and Old Camp Road.
Police say they were able to develop Styles as a suspect. He was later located in Brunswick; and with the assistance of Brunswick Police, authorities in Frederick were able to take him into custody. Officers say a handgun was recovered from his vehicle. Styles did not have a valid handgun permit, police say.
Also indicted on Friday, March 21st:
*Kelly Elizabeth Flores, 32, of Frederick, Md, who is charged with 1st-degree assault, 2nd-degree assault, and 2nd-degree child abuse by a custodian for an offense which occurred on February 26th, 2025.
*William Tavon Spencer, 34, of Frederick, Md, who is charged with 1st-degree assault and 2nd-degree assault for an offense which occurred on September 19th, 204.
*Joshua Isaiah Bowie, 39, of Frederick, Md, who is charged with 1st-degree assault, 2nd-degree assault and reckless endangerment for an offense which occurred on March 4th, 2025.
These indictments move these cases to Circuit Court where trial dates will be scheduled.
The Frederick County State’s Attorney’s Office says indictments are charging documents alleging criminal conduct, and all defendants are innocent until proven guilty.
