Two Suspects Arrested In Pennsylvania For Hagerstown Shooting

They are in jail awaiting extradition back to Maryland

Hagerstown, Md (KM) Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a shooting in Hagerstown on Sunday. Ashley Pennant, 29, of Hagerstown, and Darryl Lee Robinson, 32, of Ashburn, Virginia were apprehended on Monday afternoon north of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania.   Hagerstown Police say they are incarcerated at the Franklin County Jail on charges of attempted murder, and numerous handgun and conspiracy offenses. .

Authorities say the suspects are awaiting extradition back to Maryland.

Hagerstown Police say the shooting took place on Sunday in the unit block of East Antietam Street.  Officers arriving at the scene say they discovered a man was struck, but his injuries were not considered life-threatening. They say the victim and the suspects are believed to know each other, and there was no danger to the community.
