Frederick, Md (KM) A shots-fired incident on Tuesday afternoon in the Ballenger Creek area remains under investigation.
The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were dispatched to the 5200 block of Black Locust Drive at around 2:30 PM. . They found evidence of a firearm being discharged, Authorities also detained several individuals for questioning. They were released without charges.
The Sheriff’s Office says the investigation so far reveals that this was an isolated incident between individuals who knew each other. There’s no danger to the public.
No victims have been identified at this time, authorities say.
