One involved a domestic violence incident.
Frederick, Md (KM) Seven indictments were returned on Friday by the Frederick County Grand Jury.
The panel charged Tevis Denver Findlater, 27, of Silver Spring with two counts of 1st-degree assault, four counts of 2nd-degree assault, malicious destruction of property less than $1,000; possession and possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and six counts of violating his release conditions.
These indictments against Findlater cover incidents which occurred in Frederick County this year on February 13th, March 31st, and between April 1sr and 5th
On Monday,, March 31st, Frederick Police Officers responded to the 900 block of West Patrick Street for a domestic incident, They found signs of a struggle in a room, and a woman with extensive bleeding and a large contusion on her forehead. The victim was taken to Frederick Health Hospital where medical staff said she had a broken back.
Police conducted a search of the residence and found 30 grams of a white powdery substance on Findlater’s person. They also say the quantity of drugs and packaging were consistent with intent to distribute. Findlater was taken into custody.
The other indictments were:
*David Graham Horvath, 50, of Frederick who is charged with 2nd degree child abuse by a custodian and two counts of 2nd-degree assault for an offense which occurred on March 22nd, 2025.
*William None Palmer, 58, of Frederick who is charged with 2nd-degree assault and 2nd-degree child abuse by a custodian for an offense which occurred on March 30th, 2025.
*Shan Edward Oney, 42, of Frederick who is charged with three counts of 1st-degree assault, three counts of 2nd-degree assault and possession of cocaine and possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and possession of paraphernalia (little baggies) for an offense which occurred on March 26th, 2025.
*Scott Derrick Wallace, 43, of Frederick who is charge with two counts of 1st-degree child abuse, three counts of 2nd-degree assault, and one count of reckless endangerment for an offense which occurred on March 19th, 2025.
*Brandon Marquis Wills, 30, of Frederick, Maryland, who is charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of 2nd-degree assault, and two counts of attempted theft of less than $100 for an offense which occurred on March 27th, 2025.
These indictments move these cases to the Circuit Court where trial dates be scheduled.
The Frederick County State’s Attorney’s Office says indictments are charging documents alleging criminal conduct, and all defendants are innocent until proven guilty.
