Frederick, Md (NS) On WMFD, Mason Carter, candidate for Frederick County Council district 5, discussed his rally against students wearing masks in public schools.
The August 4th event will take place outside of the Frederick County Public Schools Board of Education to peacefully protest the recent decision to require students to wear masks in schools.
The protest begins at 2:30 p.m., shortly prior to the 3:00 p.m. Board of Education meeting.
Carter says that there are many students who do not want to wear masks.
He says wearing masks or getting vaccines is “a matter of choice because personal health is personal,” and that “I know my risk far greater than any governing body.”
Carter hopes this rally will put a voice to the students and parents who do not want to wear masks.
