Motorists who venture out should have snow tires or chains on their vehicles.
Frederick, Md (KM) The Maryland State Police in Frederick have put the Snow Emergency Plan in affect as of 2:00 PM on Friday. That means motorists should have snow tires or chains on their vehicles if they are heading out in this type of weather. Studded tires are permitted from November 1st through March 31st
During the declaration of a snow emergency plan, no one may park their vehicle on a designated snow emergency route.
