Bolikvar, Md. (KM) – One person was injured and another arrested following a road rage incident in Bolivar Monday morning.
The Hagerstown Herald Mail reports that at round 10:53 AM, Sergeant Brandon Conway with the Jefferson County, West Virginia Sheriff’s Office was in the areas of Shipley School Road when he was approached by a witness who said there was a fight and a stabbing at the intersection of Route 340 at the Bolivar light.
Authorities say it started as a road-rage incident by two drivers coming in from Maryland and ended up with both men getting out of their vehicles, and having a fist fight. One one driver stabbed the other.
The victim who was stabbed multiple times in the back was transported to an out-of-state hospital. The other man was arrested. No names have been released.
