She replaces Helen Propheter who has retired.
Frederick, Md. (KIM) – Jodie Bollinger has been named the Acting Director of the Frederick County Office of Economic Development. She takes over from Helen Propheter who has retired.
Bollinger has been with the office for more than 25 years. The County Executive’s Office says Bollinger has been known in the local business community and has visited about 1,750 businesses over the years. She has served as Director of Business Retention since 2019. In a statement, the County Executive’s Office says Bollinger has assisted numerous businesses with their expansion plans, including COSTCO, Wicoxon Sensing Technologies, Indivumed, Modavar Pharmaceuticals and many other companies.
While taking on the job as Acting Director, Bollinger will continue to lead in business retention and marketing efforts.
The team at the Office of Economic Development includes Beth Woodring, Director of Business Attraction and Finance, Katie Stevens, Director of Workforce Development and Agriculture Business, and Michelle Day, Director of Workforce Services.
