It will require the closure of the Rt. 80 exit ramp for two nights.
Frederick, Md. (KM) – From now until Friday morning, the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration crews will be conducing overnight work on southbound Interstate 270 along the exit ramp to Route 80 in Urbana.
MDOT SHA says personnel will work from 10:00 PM until 5:00 AM Wednesday night through Friday morning replacing the old guardrail and installing a new one.
During that work, the Route 80 exit will be closed, and traffic will be detoured to Route 109 on to northbound I-270.
Electronic signs, cones and barrels will be put in place to alert motorists to the work zone and guide them through the detour.
