One-Million Dollar Powerball Ticket Sold In Frederick County Last Weekend

As of Monday, the winner has not come forward.

Baltimore, Md (KM) There’s a new millionaire in our region, and that person may not know it yet. The Maryland Lottery says a  $1-million Powerball ticket was sold on  Saturday April 8th  at the Sheetz store at 3842 Burkittsville Road in Knoxville.

As of Monday, April 10th, the prize remains unclaimed, according to the Maryland Lottery.

Officials say the winners of drawn contests such as Powerball have 182 days to claim their prizes.

In addition to the $1-million Powerball ticket, the Maryland Lottery says  players across Maryland won nearly  $32 million during the week ending April 9th. Players in Glen Burnie and Reisterstown won six-digit prizes last week playing FASTPLAY and Powerball tickets

Over past seven days, the Lottery says 35 winning tickets worth $10,000 or more were sold or redeemed across Maryland.
