Tornado Touches Down In Montgomery County

It only lasted about a minute.

Poolesville, Md (KM) No injuries were reported last weekend after a tornado touched down in Montgomery County.

The National Weather Service says the twister came down in the Poolesville area Saturday afternoon, and lasted about one minute. Its path was 100 yards long and 25 yards wide,  The twister uprooted some trees and broke some large branches.

Meteorologists  say  the tornado was classified as an EF 0 with winds of 75 miles per hour.
