Police say he’s suspected of four other break-ins.
Hagerstown, Md (KM) An individual arrested recently in Hagerstown for a residential burglary is a suspect in four other burglaries, according to police. Thomas Lee Gordon, 43, of Hagerstown was taken into custody on Wednesday.
Authorities say at around 11:00 AM, they were dispatched to the 200 block of Columbia Avenue for a burglary in progress. Officers learned that a neighbor heard a loud crash, and saw someone enter the home. Police saw a rear window had been broken and an individual was walking around inside of the residence. .
A perimeter was established, and officers called on the person inside to come out. He didn’t and police entered the home where they took Gordon into custody.
As a result of his arrest, Hagerstown Police say they were able to link Gordon to four other break-ins over the past 30 days. The other burglaries were in the 300 block of Wakefield Road, the 1300 block of Woodland Way, the 1100 block of The Terrace, and the 900 block, of Kenwood Drive.
Gordon was charged with all five burglaries. He is curranty being held without bond at the Washington County Detention Center.
