Motorcyclist Killed In Montgomery County After Colliding With A Deer

The victim was following another motorcycle.

Montgomery County, Md. (BW)- A Florida woman was killed after her motorcycle collided with a deer in Montgomery County on Sunday, July 9.

At around 8:47 p.m., police, as well as fire and rescue services responded to the 21400 block of Beallsville Road near Sellman Road for reports of a motorcycle that hit a deer.

Upon arrival, emergency personnel located the victim, identified as 53-year-old Michelle Lee Beach of Dunedin, Florida. She was transported to an area hospital for the treatment of life-threatening injuries. She was later pronounced dead.

The initial investigation revealed that Beach was travelling south on Beallsville Road on a pink 2007, Suzuki GXSR 600, following another motorcycle when she struck a deer and was ejected from the motorcycle.

The Montgomery County Police Collision Reconstruction Unit are continuing to investigate the crash.
