The road will be closed during daylight hours.
Frederiick, Md (KM) A bridge replacement project is scheduled to get underway on Old Mill Road on July 31st.
The Frederick County Office of Transportation Engineering says a daytime detour will be set up so that work vehicles can park on the road. Motorists are encouraged to use Md. 77 west to Old Frederick Road. The detour will be clearly marked.
County officials have not announced a completion date for this project.
Old Mill Road is located the eastern part of Frederick, south of Md. 77 near the Loys Station Park and Rocky Ridge.
