MDOT SHA says it’s expected to last several weeks.
Baltimore, Md (KM) An improvement project along Md. 27 (Ridge Road) in Carroll County is scheduled to get underway this coming Sunday.
The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration says crews will be milling, patching, paving and restriping five-miles of pavement along Md. 27 between Liberty Road (Md 26) and Nicodemus Road in Westminster. . Drivers can expect single-lane closures Sundays through Thursdays from 7:00 PM until 5:00 AM over the next few weeks.
MDOT SHA says the contractor, Francis O. Day Co.,. Rockville, Md., will be using signs, barrels, cones, flaggers and arrow boards to guide motorists through the work zone.
The project is expected to be completed in early October, weather permitting.
