Rabies has nearly a 100% mortality rate once a human or animal starts having symptoms.
Frederick, Md. (BW)- The Frederick County Health Department will be hosting two rabies vaccination clinics in September and October.
The first clinic will be held at Thurmont Community Park on Sunday, Sept 24.
The second clinic will happen at Brunswick Park on Sunday, Oct 22.
All vaccinations will cost $10 and are payable by cash or check. Credit and debit cards are not acceptable forms of payment.
The clinics do not require pre-registration. They will be run on a walk-in basis.
Both clinics will be held rain or shine.
