Traffic will continue to be detoured.
The section of Ijamsville Road between Reichs Ford Road and Mussetter Road will remain closed while crews relocate a railroad crossing. The Frederick County Department of Transportation Engineering says the closure is being extended for an additional three weeks, weather permitting.
A detour route will remain in place during the closure. It will use Mussetter Road, Old National Pike to Md. Route 144.
Reichs Ford Road to Ijamsville Road north is still open to traffic.
Emergency personnel and the school system have been notified.
