The Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
Frederick, Md (KM) A Frederick man died in a motorcycle crash Wednesday night.
The Sheriff’s Office says at around 8:36 PM, deputies responded to the area of Urbana Pike at New Technology way. They learned Michael Augustine McTIghe, 71, was operating his bike when it struck a median curb and crashed.
Fire and rescue personnel were called to the scene, and the Maryland State Police helicopter flew McTighe to Shock Trauma in Baltimore where he died from his injuries.
The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit is continuing its investigation of this fatal crash.
