Frederick, Md (KM) A Frederick man is being held without bond following his arrest on child pornography charges.
Police say George Joseph Gutmann, 41, was taken into custody following a search and seizure operation on Wednesday at his home. Authorities say evidence was located that led authorities to file eight counts related to the possession of child pornography and solicitation child pornography from minors, and eight counts related to distribution of child pornography.
The operation was a coordinated effort between the Frederick Police, the State’s Attorney’s Office and the FBI. A police news release says the Governor’s Office of Crime Prevention, Youth and Victim Services funded this project.
