Frederick County Grand Jury Indicts Seven On Friday

Two are co-defendants in a burglary, theft.

Frederick, Md (KM) Seven indictments were returned by the Frederick County Grand Jury on Friday.

Demarco Coney-Jones, 29, of Merced, California and Akayla Tuttle, 22, of Las Vegas, are charged as co-defendants with 1st-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit 1st-degree burglary, two counts of theft over $100,000., and  conspiracy to commit theft over $100,000.

Both are suspected of breaking into a home in Urbana on August 18th, 2023, and stealing $3 million worth of jewelry. . The Sheriff’s Office say one of its detectives worked with the FBI’s Baltimore Office to identify Coney-Jones and Tuttle as the suspects. They were arrested on August 28th in Las Vegas where authorities found most of the stolen jewelry, along with US currency and illegal firearms.

The two suspects were extradited to Frederick County on September 1st, and are being held without bond at the Adult Detention Center.

The other indictments on Friday include:

*Cristian Aldair Tejada, 29, of Germantown, Md., who is charged with two counts of 3rd degree sex offense against a minor, and one count each of soliciting a subject for child pornography, filming a child  in a sex act and possession of child pornography for incidents which occurred between September 15th, 2019 to September 14th, 2020.

* Anthony Joseph Dove,  41, of Frederick, Md., who is charged 1st-degree assault, 2nd-degree assault and violating an ex parte/protective order for incidents which occurred between September 2nd, 2023 and September 6th, 2023.

*Daniel Edwin Dorsey, 23, of Frederick, Md. who is charged with kidnapping, 1st-degree assault, 2nd-degree assault and false imprisonment for an incident which occurred on September 8th, 2023.

*Lester Geovan Jacinto-Samayoa, 26, of Frederick, Md, who is charged with 1st-degree assault, two counts of 2nd-degree assault, and resisting/interfering with an arrest for an incident which occurred on September 8th, 2023.

*Robert Franklin Rowe, 67, of Frederick, Md. who is charged with 1st-degree assault and 2nd-degree assault for an incident which occurred on September 11th, 2023.

These cases will now move to the Circuit Court where trial dates will be scheduled.

The State’s Attorney’s Office says indictments are documents alleging criminal conduct, and all defendants are innocent until proven guilty.
