Repair and stabilization work is expected to take place.
Frederick, Md (KM) Beginning on or about October 11th, one lane of Mountville Road will be closed. The Frederick County Office of Transportation Engineering says this will allow the contractors, Highland Turf, Inc. and GeoStablization International, to repair and stabilize embankments along two sections of the road.
The closure is expected to last two months, weather permitting.
During this closure, county officials say no combination vehicles over 30 feet long and no wide load vehicles will be permitted on Mountville Road. .
A signed detour will be in place during this one-lane closure.
