Fire officials say no one was injured.

Frederick, Md (KM) There were no injuries from a house fire in Frederick Wednesday afternoon.
The Division of Fire and Rescue Services says at around 1:20 PM, fire fighters were dispatched to the 1500 block of Carey Place. Personnel arriving on the scene saw smoke coming from the roof of a two-story duplex. They entered the home and found fire in the attic.
The three adults in one unit, and the one resident in an neighboring unit were able to get out safely. Fire fighters helped one of the residents locate their cat, fire officials say. .
Personnel had the flames under control at 1:48 PM. They then began overhaul, and wetting down hot spots. The fire was declared out just before 2:00 PM.
The County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
