Work Expected To Begin Next Week On Repairs to US 15 and Md. 26 Ramps

Traffic will be detoured.

Frederick, Md (KM) Overnight repair work will take place at the US 15 and Md 26 ramps next week.

The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration says work on the westbound Md  26 ramp to northbound US 15 will take place starting on Sunday, June 23rd at 9:00 PM, and be completed that following Monday by 5:00 AM

On Monday, June 24th,  at 9:00 PM, crews will be doing repairs on the southbound US 15 ramp to eastbound Md. 180 or Jefferson Pike. . Personnel will close the ramp’s three lanes to repair cracks and depressions in the roadway, That’s expected to take four nights to complete.

Traffic will be detoured.   MDOT SHA says the contractor, Francis O. Day Company of Rockville, will be using electronic boards, signs, barrels and cones to alert  motorists to ramp closures  and detour routes.
