Manchester, Md (KM) No injuries were reported from a house fire in Carroll County on Thursday morning. .
The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says fire fighters were dispatched shortly after 7:30- AM to 3301 Traceys Mill Road in Manchester for a single family home on fire. It took 50 fire fighters a half hour to bring the flames under control. Damage is estimated at $200.000 to the structure. .
Investigators say the fire originated in the kitchen and was discovered by contractors working on the home. The cause remains under investigation.
