But not as bad after Debby came through.
Rockville, Md (KM) Despite the rain we experienced from Tropical Storm Debby last week, the DC Metro region remains under a drought watch. That’s according to the Interstate Commission on the Potomac River Basin..
But ICPRC says it’s not as bad as beforeĀ Debby blew through. The Potomac received a boost from Tropical Strom Debby but is falling back down to normal levels.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration says temperatures are expected to be above average with slightly above average rain over the next three months. But the rain predictions are based on an active hurricane season.
Residents and businesses are still encouraged to voluntarily conserve water.
