Suspect Charged With Trespass At Urbana High, Assaulting Employee

Frederick, Md (KM) Charges have been filed against a man who entered Urbana High School last week, and assaulted an employee. The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office say Ronald Nathaniel Steward, 34, of Fredreick is charged with disturbing school operations, trespassing on school grounds and 2nd-degree assault. He’s currently being held at the Adult Detention Center.

On Tuesday, September 17th, a man entered the school at around 11:00 AM using an exterior door. While inside, a staff member noticed the man and escorted him out. As the staff member was closing the door, he was assaulted by the suspect who then left the school’s campus. No other staff or students were injured, the Sheriff’s Office says. 

Deputies searched the area for the suspect, He was located and taken to a local hospital for an evaluation.
