He is minor being charged as an adult.
Silver Spring, Md (KM) A second suspect has been charged for a double murder in Silver Spring. Montgomery County Police say Adom Bogale Abay, 16, of Silver Spring is charged as an adult with two counts each of 1st-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a crime of violence. Abay is currently being held at the County Central Processing Unit on an unrelated offense, and has been served with a warrant for these new charges. .
On August 26th, Onyx Santana Austin, 15, was arrested at Dulles International Airport for his alleged involvement in the murders. He was taken into custody by US Customs and Border Protection after returning to the United States.
On May 26rh, 2024, D’Andre Wint and Quincy Johnson were killed at Nolte Local Park. Both were 20 years of age.
