TRAFFIC ALERT – State Highway Administration To Assist Potomac Edison With Utility Work On Westbound I-70 Ramp In Frederick County This Thursday

Overnight Work will Close Exit 52 to Southbound US 15/Westbound US 340.

 Frederick County, MD – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will assist Potomac Edison with repairs to a utility pole along the westbound I-70 ramp at Exit 52 (southbound US 15/westbound US 340). Starting on Thursday, October 24 at 10 p.m., the ramp will close to safely allow crews to make repairs to the pole. The ramp is expected to be reopen by 5 a.m. the following morning, Friday, October 25.

During the closure, motorists will be directed to continue on westbound I-70 and take Exit 49 to US 40 Alternate (Old National Pike) to access eastbound I-70 and proceed to the US 15/US 340 exits.
