Trial Of Union Bridge Man Charged With Murder In Frederick Begins

Jury  selection  took place on Monday.

Frederick, Md (KM) Jury selection got underway on Monday at the Frederick County Court House for a Union Bridge man charged with the fatal stabbing of a woman on New Year’s Eve 2022.  Ruben Terod Williams, 40, is charged with 1st degree murder,  2nd-degree murder and other offenses for the death of Mary Alice Seward, 41..

Police say she was stabbed in the upper body following a dispute over crack cocaine and money. This came after a drug that had  deal gone bad. . She was take to Frederick Health Hospital where she died.

The incident occurred in the 200 block of LInden Avenue in Frederick.

Williams’ trial is expected to last through Friday, November 22nd.
