New Market, Md (KM) Here’s a heads-up for drivers who use the Route 75 (Green Valley Road) bridge over Interstate 70. Starting on Sunday, December 29th at 8:00 PM, the State Highway Administration says the inner lanes of the bridge will be closed and traffic will be moved to the outer lanes. That task is expected to be completed by 5:00 AM Monday, December 30th, weather permitting.
SHA says the traffic shift is necessary so crews have space to build a new median across the bridge. This is part of a $5 million deck (pavement) replacement on the bridge which is expected to be completed by early next year.
