Troopers asking for the public’s help in locating the driver who left the scene after striking the driver of a disabled vehicle.

Frederick County, MD – On Tuesday, January 21st, 2025, at approximately 0920 hours, the attached pictured suspect vehicle was involved in a serious motor vehicle collision on northbound Interstate 270 north of Route 80. The suspect vehicle is pictured stopped on the right shoulder and is described as a dark green or gray colored possible Ford pickup truck, pulling a black trailer.
The pickup truck struck a disabled vehicle and subsequently the operator of the disabled vehicle. The victim had to be flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore with serious injuries. The suspect vehicle failed to remain on the scene.
